Finance Analyst

A global infrastructure organisation is seeking a Finance Analyst to support its South African operations. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior finance stakeholders, supporting critical financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities across multiple departments.

Key Duties:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and dashboards
• Perform monthly reconciliations of operational and capital expenditure accounts
• Analyse budget vs actual results and identify areas for improvement
• Support business units with cost centre allocations and financial compliance
• Prepare variance analysis, management presentations, and ad hoc reports
• Perform internal control checks and support SOX compliance processes
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, operations, and SSC teams
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the finance function

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics (CA(SA) preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance-related role
• Strong proficiency in IFRS, Excel, and PowerPoint; Power BI and Microsoft D365 experience is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
