One of my clients in the South African retailer market is looking for a Finance Audit Manager to join their team in Cape Town.

Duties:

Deliver the complete finance audit plan
Optimize and improve the efficiency of the finance audit team and quality of deliverables.
Ensure follow up on findings and corrective actions
Coordinate and assist with the preparation of Audit Committee deliverables
Continued combined assurance approach to ensure maximum reliance by external audit on the work of internal audit
Provide technical assistance with investigations, special audits, and provide subject-matter expertise as needed
Successful working relationship with the key stakeholders
Provide support to head of internal audit in terms of coordinating risk management activities and the preparation of the bi-annual risk reports
Coach and up-skill junior team members

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
B Com Degree / CTA
Essential: CA (SA)
CISA - Desirable
CRMA Risk Management certification - Desirable

Experience:

Minimum of 8 - 10 years of success in a professional audit capacity is required
5 years of which within internal assurance
Big 4 in external and/or internal audit is required
Exposure within the public listed industry preferable
Desirable: Retail audit experience
Experience in IT audit and project assurance - Desirable
