POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing business, is seeking a hands-on Financial Manager to join their leadership team. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being deeply involved in the day-to-day financial operations while contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
This is not a role for someone who prefers to simply review and sign off on work. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and takes ownership of the finance function from end to end.
Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls, improving reporting processes, and providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full finance function and month-end reporting process
Prepare and analyse management reports and financial statements
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and insights

Job Experience and Skills Required:
CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
4+ years experience in a similar role
Strong IFRS knowledge, including IFRS 16
Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
