Assist the CFO/ Property CEO with providing the necessary expertise and information when required for social projects
Assist the CFO in the budgeting and planning process
Ensure financial governance, internal controls and compliance to the Group’s standards and reporting requirements are achieved in the specific timeline
Keep the GM Finance fully aware of all financial related matters that may impact on the business on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Assist property management team by tracking large project expense / developments / refurbishments.
Develop standard and new accounting procedures to improve financial operations efficiency.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
Knowledge in financial regulations and legislation
Provide accurate, timely and reliable financial information
Prepare statutory payments (eg. Income tax, VAT)
Pro-actively deal with any problems that may arise from above
Skills & Experience:
4-6 years relevant work in the property investment and development industry
Working knowledge of IFRS
South African company Tax
BCOMM Accounting with completed SAICA articles
