A well-established organisation in the logistics and freight-forwarding sector is seeking a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys diving deep into the numbers, improving processes, and adding measurable value.

The logistics and freight sector is one of South Africa’s most critical economic pillars, supporting domestic trade, regional distribution across Southern Africa, and global import/export activity. With South Africa acting as the gateway to the African continent, the industry plays a central role in supply chain continuity, trade facilitation, and economic growth.

The Financial Accountant CA(SA) in the freight and logistics sector manages end-to-end accounting, oversees revenue/cost flows of shipments, handles multi-currency transactions, ensures compliance with customs/VAT regulations, maintains strong financial controls, supports operational teams with financial insights, leads process improvements, and ensures accurate reporting in a fast-paced, complex supply-chain environment.

This role reports to the Head of Finance.
