JOB SUMMARY:
An opportunity for a Financial Accountant has become available for a JSE-Listed company in the northern suburbs. To find out more about the opportunity; please share your CV with me and I will set up a time with you to discuss.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform financial accounting services for Central Office entities including the preparation of monthly financial reports, quarterly re-forecasts, annual financial statements and annual budgets
Monthly management accounts regarding key variances against budget/reforecasts
Process and submit monthly VAT returns, prepare monthly income tax calculations and any other statutory returns within given timeframes
Process monthly staff payroll within given timeframes
Prepare monthly bank, debtors, creditors and balance sheet reconciliations including maintenance of the fixed asset register for the Central Office entities
Assist with ad hoc processes such as external, internal and BEE audits for Central office entities
Compilation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for Central Office entities

Qualification:
Relevant Finance Degree
