A medical healthcare distributor is looking for a Financial Analyst to analyse information to help the business understand the current situation. The individual will set up tools for the business to easier analyse the information in the future.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:
Importation costs

Analyse the different types of importation costs per supplier and clearing agent
Interact with clearing agents to understand outliers, trends, future changes etc.
Use trends and knowledge gained to develop projections of costs per supplier and clearing agent
Develop a planning tool for future shipments and estimation tool for future costs

Credit notes

Analyse the information available on credit notes issued to customers
Interact with different departments to: understand the process, further enhance the quality of the historic data and improve the accuracy of future credit note capturing.
Develop tools for reporting on credit notes
Propose a solution for reducing credit notes

Qualifications:
Completed Matric
Relevant finance qualification

Experience:
2 – 3 years’ experience
Advanced Excel skills
