Our client, a leader in the Building Materials and Hardware industry is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join their team based in Durban.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
- 3-5 years previous experience in a Financial Controller or similar role
- Ability to manage staff as well as delegate and control tasks
- Strong operational and commercial mindset
- Own transport and valid driving license
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- Bank Reconciliation and loading of online banking payments
- Debtors Age Analysis management
- Creditors Age Analysis management
- Credit Guarantee Insurance reconciliation and management
- Fixed Assets Insurance and Register maintenance
- Maintenance and monthly reconciliation of payroll and other benefits.
- Monthly SARS and other statutory submissions
- General ledger account reconciliation and processing of monthly journals
- Working capital cashflow management
- Management reports
- Management of finance team members
- Facilitation of the annual external audit process to successful completion
