POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leader in the Building Materials and Hardware industry is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to join their team based in Durban.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
3-5 years previous experience in a Financial Controller or similar role
Ability to manage staff as well as delegate and control tasks
Strong operational and commercial mindset
Own transport and valid driving license

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

Bank Reconciliation and loading of online banking payments
Debtors Age Analysis management
Creditors Age Analysis management
Credit Guarantee Insurance reconciliation and management
Fixed Assets Insurance and Register maintenance
Maintenance and monthly reconciliation of payroll and other benefits.
Monthly SARS and other statutory submissions
General ledger account reconciliation and processing of monthly journals
Working capital cashflow management
Management reports
Management of finance team members
Facilitation of the annual external audit process to successful completion
