Now Hiring: A Financial Director for the Insurance industry, based in Johannesburg East!

POSITION INFO:

As the Financial Director, you will be the financial steward of the company, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business performance through insightful financial leadership.

Duties:

Lead and manage all aspects of financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Ensure regulatory compliance within the insurance sector, including IFRS 17 and other relevant frameworks
Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Oversee financial controls, risk management, and internal audit processes
Drive cost efficiencies and maximize return on financial assets

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
Experience:
- At least 10 years of progressive financial experience, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior leadership level
- Proven exposure to the insurance industry – Deep knowledge of insurance financial models, risk frameworks, and compliance standards
