POSITION INFO:

This is an influential Finance Executive role where you will partner with the CEO and leadership team to guide financial strategy, ensure robust governance, and drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.
Drive financial strategy, cost optimisation, and profitability initiatives across the business.
Ensure accurate and compliant statutory reporting, tax management, and audit processes.
Provide strategic commercial insights to support operational and executive decision-making.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Strengthen internal controls and champion financial best practices.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA).
Experience: 8–12 years’ post-article experience with at least 5 years in senior finance leadership, ideally at Financial Manager or Financial Director level.
Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing is essential.
Strong financial governance, strategic planning, and commercial decision-making capability.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
A proven track record of leading teams, influencing executives, and driving operational improvements.
Strong communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.
