Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Require the services of a suitable qualified Financial Manager with a B.COM or similar with preferably PASTEL (or any other package) and advanced EXCEL. This person will be supported by bookkeepers as well as Creditors / Debtors clerks.

POSITION INFO:

The following will be expected from the FM:

• Reporting to Cheif Financial Officer and CEO
• Multi-company reporting - average of 13 entities
• Intercompany loan accounts reconciliations
• Reviewing agreements for financial implications and diarising same
• Drafting standard Agreements of Sale and Lease Agreements
• Gathering and compilation of development information for financing applications
• Liaising with banks in respect of financial queries
• FICA of multiple entities
• Reconciliations of various Bond Accounts
• Updating and reporting on company''s financial exposure
• Review and submit VAT recons to SARS for multiple entities
• Liaise with SARS auditors regarding VAT refund audits
• Provisional TAX review and submission
• Income Tax planning and review and submission of multiple entities
• Arrange and manage annual audits of multiple entities
• Compiling audit file for auditors of multiple entities
• Review Annual Financial Statements of multiple entities
• Monthly review of general ledger, bank recons and VAT reports of multiple entities
• Cash Flow forecast vs Actual reporting
• Generating and reviewing of management accounts of multiple entities
• Statutory Applications and reporting to CIPC
• Attending AGM''s of developments as representative of the developing company
• Review of Monthly payroll
• Creating business models for new Companies (property management, investors club)
• Project planning and analysing of information of business model
• Review and authorise all payments on various online banking platforms
• Review Income and Expense reports for all development projects
• Project Financial Management, Feasibilities and budgets
• Liaising with Transfer and Bond attorneys regarding the purchasing of properties
• Creating monthly Debit orders on bank platform
• Review, amend and create Standard operating Procedures
• Manage a staff complement of 10 employees
• Any ad hoc duties
