POSITION INFO:

Manage all accounting and finance functions up to full financial control
Manage the finance team
Ensure quality control and integrity of financial transactions, compliance, and financial reporting
Review payments and reconciliations of VAT, taxes, suppliers, salaries, etc.
Develop and improve business processes and internal controls
Analyse various financial results
Review Income Statements and Balance Sheet items monthly
Provide full sets of monthly management reports
Control all month-end processing and reconciliation checklists, procedures, and work calendars
Review and ensure monthly management reports to ensure accuracy
Control all year-end close procedures
Perform stock-take procedures and analyze the results
Reconcile all Balance Sheet items monthly and yearly
Prepare annual budget
Complete various franchisor financial reports
Perform all tax calculations and submissions to SARS
Manage staff leave planning, recruitment process, performance reviews interviews, etc.
Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly finance deadlines are met
Prepare annual audits, schedules, and queries
Prepare annual financial statements of all retail entities
Cash flow management and forecasts
Manage projects and objectives throughout the year.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 6+ Years post article experience
Minimum 4+ Years of management experience
Retail experience
Advanced Excel skills
Sage Evolution knowledge beneficial
Excellent reconciliation skills

Qualification:
CA(SA)
OR
SAICA/SAIPA Articles and B. Accounting
