SUMMARY:
If you are a hands-on Financial Manager with legal bookkeeping experience and the ability to manage the full financial function, this is your opportunity to lead the finance function of a respected legal firm in Pretoria East, working closely with executive leadership in a collaborative, high-performance culture.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Stable employment record
Practical legal bookkeeping experience (mandatory)
Advanced knowledge of Lexpro (highly beneficial)
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Daily financial processing and reporting on Lexpro
Monthly financial statements and reporting to Directors
Full accounting function up to Trial Balance
Completion of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Managing company ledgers and reviewing system reports
Coordinating internal and external audits
Overseeing the annual audit process with external auditors
Cash flow and budget management
Submission of VAT201, EMP201, EMP501 and other SARS statutory returns
Monitoring and resolving lease-related matters and financial discrepancies
Liaising with banks and managing banking processes
Handling and overseeing petty cash
Providing internal FICA training (intermediate knowledge required)
POPIA knowledge and training capability (advantageous)

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, but will be capped at max R25 000.
