SUMMARY:
This leading multinational company, in the mining and explosives sector, is looking for a high-performing Senior Financial Reporting Manager to take ownership of group reporting and drive strategic financial insights across a complex and fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
A global industry leader is seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Senior Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the group’s financial reporting function. This role forms a key part of the finance leadership team and will be responsible for driving the reporting process, ensuring IFRS compliance, and delivering meaningful financial insights to executive stakeholders. You will also play a critical role in mentoring junior staff and ensuring reporting excellence across the business.

Other Duties Include:

Ownership of group financial reporting and monthly consolidated results
Preparation and presentation of Board packs and management reports
Overseeing statutory reporting and year-end audit processes
Driving the implementation of IFRS updates and ensuring full compliance
Mentoring and guiding junior finance professionals

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 5 to 8 years post-articles experience, with strong technical reporting exposure
Experience with managing group reporting for a large multinational (mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred)
Excellent understanding of IFRS and consolidation principles
Proven leadership skills and the ability to communicate at a Board level
Analytical mindset with a passion for driving reporting improvements
