Food Technologist / Food Scientist

SUMMARY:
Our client in Airport Industrial is seeking a skilled Food Technologist / Food Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of technical processes, food safety standards, and South African labelling legislation is essential. Experience with food safety audits will be advantageous. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, and good interpersonal abilities. This is an office-based position that demands proficiency in MS Office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Food Technology / Food Science
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of technical processes and principles
• Good knowledge and understanding of food safety standards; experience with food safety audits will be advantageous
• Experience with South African labelling legislation and artwork sign off
• Quality / High standard mind set; excellent attention to detail
• Good organizational skills; strong ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Good interpersonal skills

• Computer literate MS Office
