Forklift Driver

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Forklift Driver License (essential).
• Proven experience (1–2 years) operating forklifts/pallet trucks in warehouse or logistics environments.
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads (up to 25 kg or more) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for routine maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team.

• Load and unload goods from incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Ensure all loads are secure and properly balanced before transportation.
• Safely transport materials between storage, picking, packing and shipping areas.
• Stack and organize products in assigned locations to optimize space and prevent damage.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including PPE, seatbelt use, speed limits, and maintaining clear aisles.
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and report any faults or concerns promptly.
• Support overall warehouse operations as required.
