On the hunt for a Full Stack Software Engineers in Cape Town!

POSITION INFO:
When you're fluent in both front-end finesse and back-end power, you need a role that stretches across the full stack without boxing you into either end. This is that role - a chance to build, scale, and optimize full-system architecture in a tech environment that rewards clean code, strong design thinking, and fearless iteration.

Working alongside product, design, QA, and platform teams, you’ll own features end-to-end - from building modular front-end components to designing scalable APIs and deploying into resilient cloud environments. You’ll ship often, document well, and be empowered to bring real engineering discipline to every layer of the stack.

Duties:

Build and maintain front-end and back-end systems according to software engineering standards.
Develop RESTful APIs and reusable microservices using C# and the .NET framework.
Implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
Ensure database efficiency (SQL & NoSQL) through well-designed schemas and queries.
Collaborate with architects, QA, and product teams on feature development and deployment.
Monitor performance, resolve production issues, and uphold SLAs.
Write and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including experience with C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js.

Experience:

3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle.
Solid understanding of software engineering design patterns and methodologies.
Proven track record in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, and writing efficient TSQL queries.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Experience working with Agile teams, collaborating in dynamic environments.

Skills & Competencies:

Skilled in testing (unit/integration), debugging, and performance optimization.
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and in-memory datastores (Redis, Valkey).
Agile mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Passionate about tech and driven to continuously improve code quality and architecture.
