JOB SUMMARY:
Amazing senior opportunity for an experienced, innovative, big-picture thinker, to join an incredible chemicals company as the General Manager for Operations!

You will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering the company’s operational strategy and outcomes, whilst ensuring increased profits and adherence to all stakeholder, safety and regulatory requirements. The role reports to the MD.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidates will have the following:

A tertiary qualification in operations/engineering or similar relevant field
At least 10+ years’ experience within similar senior operations roles
Proven leadership and strategic management abilities and experience
Extensive experience and knowledge of operations, manufacturing, production and warehousing processes, policies and environments
Previous experience in the chemicals industry is advantageous but not essential
Adaptability, resilience, financial acumen, a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach
