SUMMARY:
A prestigious 5-star lodge is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, guest experience, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations across all departments (front of house, back of house, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.)
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional guest service
Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control
Maintain and enhance service standards in line with the lodge’s brand and values
Build relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

5+ years senior lodge or hotel management experience
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Excellent financial acumen and business operations experience
High attention to detail with a commitment to guest satisfaction
Ability to live and work in a remote environment
Hospitality or business qualification is advantageous

Package Includes:

Live-in accommodation and meals
Work cycle (e.g. 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off – to be confirmed)
