General Manager

SUMMARY:
A prestigious 5-star lodge is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, guest experience, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across all departments (front of house, back of house, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.)
• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional guest service
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control
• Maintain and enhance service standards in line with the lodge’s brand and values
• Build relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• 5+ years senior lodge or hotel management experience
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Excellent financial acumen and business operations experience
• High attention to detail with a commitment to guest satisfaction
• Ability to live and work in a remote environment
• Hospitality or business qualification is advantageous

• Work cycle (e.g. 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off – to be confirmed)
