SUMMARY:
This Operations Admin Support position forms part of the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme and plays a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day functioning of operations. The role involves providing practical assistance across various departments, contributing to process improvements, and ensuring that operational tasks are completed accurately and on time. It requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.

POSITION INFO:
Our client in the Automotive industry is looking for an Operations Admin Support Intern (YES Program) to join their team in Gauteng, Johannesburg North.

Qualifications & Experience:

Basic Matric or NQF12 equivalent
Communication and basic or higher Excel skills necessary
Proven experience in an operations, logistics, or administrative support role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software tools.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operational activities:
Data collation and data management.
Sales order processing. (EDP & Syspro processing)
Asset controls.
Customer support.
Office administrations.
Marketing support role.
Liaise internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
Align activities with Golf Car sales and operations management as well as AMP sales manager.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.
Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
