Graduate Actuary / Data Scientist – Technical Modelling (Fully Remote | Consulting)

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, refine and optimise actuarial and financial models for Life (and occasional Non-Life)
insurance clients.
- Develop technical solutions using Python, R, SQL, and industry-standard modelling platforms.
- Support actuarial consulting projects across pricing, valuation, automation, and model enhancement work.
- Analyse data, design modelling structures, and translate insights into actionable client deliverables.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education – minimum requirement- Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative fields.
- Strong academic performance required.
Experience- Graduate to early-career candidates considered (0–2 years).
- Exposure to modelling, coding, or actuarial tools will be advantageous.
Skills- Python and/or R (essential).
- SQL experience beneficial.
- Exposure to Prophet or other actuarial modelling software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical modelling ability.

- Ability to work independently in a fully
remote environment.
- High attention to detail and strong quantitative skills.
