SUMMARY:
A large, stable company in the manufacturing environment has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer with less than 1 year of experience.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is essential.
Assisting in the process of selecting and procuring electrical equipment.
Achieving the asset mechanical reliability (AMR) business objectives as well as assisting the Operations team in meeting asset capability (AC) objectives.
Participating in and assisting with developing and maintaining equipment strategies.
Providing assistance in the development and implementation of preventative measures for existing structural conditions.
Providing technical knowledge to the Technical team regarding reliability improvements, repairs, troubleshooting and equipment design requirements.
Liaising with the Engineering Manager within the Engineering and Projects Drawing departments and completing any tasks assigned.
Assisting with developing and evaluating solutions for most effective technology (MET).
Managing the different power sources on our plant (Eskom, Generators, Solar).
Good written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Must be organised with good planning and administration skills.
Must have a technical sales personality with the ability to work in a team.
Must be open to a rotational training programme, where the candidate will be working in projects, technical, maintenance and production.
Candidates must live within the area or be willing to relocate closer to the company.
