POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Risk Management or International Trade would be highly beneficial
• 3 years’ experience in grain trading or a related position
• Good understanding of the SAFEX marketplace, having a SAFEX certifications would be advantageous
• Computer Literate
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle

• Manage the purchase and sale of grain products to achieve profitable outcomes
• Handle specialty and niche grain transactions
• Guide clients with market-related transactions and hedging strategies
• Analyse market data to support pricing and trading decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, clients, and industry stakeholders
• Conduct regular visits to clients and markets to strengthen partnerships
