They're seeking a talented and driven Solar Grid Engineer to design, develop, and optimize solar power systems that integrate seamlessly into the energy grid.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Design and engineer grid-connected solar PV systems and battery storage solutions
Conduct power flow, voltage regulation, and grid impact analyses
Collaborate with utility companies and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with interconnection standards
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements
Lead and support the commissioning and testing of new installations

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
3+ years of experience in solar PV systems and grid interconnection
Proficiency with software tools such as PVSyst, ETAP, AutoCAD, and/or PowerFactory
Strong understanding of IEEE, NEC, and UL standards related to solar and electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean energy innovation

Nice to Haves:

Experience with utility-scale solar or hybrid systems
PE license or progress toward licensure
Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring
