SUMMARY:
This reputable and fast-moving group in the motor industry is seeking a commercially focused finance professional to take on a Group Accountant / Financial Manager role based at head office in Middelburg.

Job & Company Description:
A well-established national group is looking for a finance professional with a solid track record in financial management and reporting. This role is based on-site in Middelburg and would suit someone with strong analytical skills who thrives in a structured, high-performance environment. You’ll work closely with dealership finance teams and provide senior management with key financial insights to support decision-making.
Other duties include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Overseeing compliance with financial and tax regulations
• Supporting dealership accountants with process improvements
• Liaising with operational heads to support business performance

• Completed BCom Accounting degree
• SAICA or SAIPA articles are highly beneficial

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial accountant or financial manager role
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Analytical thinker with good attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to be based full-time in Middelburg
