JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Conduct career discussions and implement actions with all identified talent
Develop relations with Management, Staff, Consultants, Customers and External Auditors
Develop and implement Risk, Fraud, and IT strategies for Internal Audit
Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective functioning of Internal Audit
To plan, organise and execute internal audit activities to fulfil Internal Audit objectives
Report the audit findings and recommendations to the Audit & Risk and Management
Report audit findings and recommendations to Board, Audit Committee and Management
Aligned Internal Audit strategic plans to the enterprise-wide risk management plan
Communicate the results of QA to senior Management and the Audit & Risk Committee
Drive improvement projects or initiatives to enhance IT, Risk, Control and Governance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting / Internal Audit
CIA / CA(SA) / CISA

Experience:

10 years’ experience in Internal Audit
4 years in managerial experience
An ethical person with a proven track record of achievement including ability to work at senior levels

Skills & Competencies:

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Reporting and presenting skills
Applying expertise and knowledge
Must have a passion for audit
