Summary: Our client in the Agriculture sector is in search of an experienced and confident, customer-service-orientated HR Professional to join their dynamic team.



Job Description

Key Performance Outputs:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide HR Operational support (including talent acquisition, rewards and recognition, performance-, talent- and change management and employee relations) through partnering with line manager to implement end-to-end people management processes;
  • Facilitate long-term initiatives aligned with strategic plan and assist line managers in translating strategic objectives and business plans into workforce capabilities;
  • Own Employee Relations processes and consult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, processes, HR legislation, across multiple disciplines and countries. Represent the company at the CCMA;
  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and business processes;
  • Build, support and maintain healthy stakeholder relations to ensure achievement of organizational goals;
  • Drive operational team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of standards and objectives;
  • Provide input into workplace planning and implement approved labour plans to ensure adequate staffing levels;
  • Manage people development initiatives and processes such as performance management, succession planning and talent management to meet functional performance standards
  • Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor Honours degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or Social Sciences
  • Experience:
  • 5 years’ management experience in Human Resources
  • 8 years’ operational experience
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • This position requires sound HR and business acumen and knowledge and experience of Financial Management, Research, Statistical Analysis and Report Writing;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office applications is required, also in Excel;
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation;
  • Solid knowledge of HR principles, processes and procedures;
  • Self-starter, professional, sense of urgency and a team-player.
