Introduction

A company situated in Johannesburg is seeking a dynamic HR Manager/ HR Generalist/ HRBP with 8 to 10 years'' experience to join their proactive team.

Duties and responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Ensure that HR processes are aligned with Business strategy
  • Implement and maintain HRIS
  • Ensure HR processes are implemented according to best practice
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to HR
  • Implement and manage onboarding and off-boarding process
  • Maintain and develop HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure that employee files are complete and up to date
  • Support payroll

Recruitment and Selection

  • Ensure effective recruitment and selection process is in place
  • Coordinate recruitment internally and externally
  • Conduct interviews
  • Coordinate psychometric assessments

Management

  • Manage team according to KPA’s
  • Monitor and control discipline of team
  • Identify training needs and coordinate as and when required
  • Provide on the job training, coaching and mentoring on an ongoing basis
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on a continuous basis
  • Provide continuous support to management team
  • Provide reporting and feedback to CEO: Property Management
  • Manage and liaise with external consultants

Industrial Relations

  • Liaise and negotiate with relevant unions
  • Ensure compliance with department of labour and other related requirements
  • Ensure that industrial relations procedures are effective
  • Monitor, maintain and administer all disciplinary matters  including, but not restricted to, hearings and CCMA appearances, documentation and corrective actions

Organisational Development

  • Ensure that job descriptions are up date and relevant
  • Ensure that organogram is up to date and relevant
  • Implement and manage reward and recognition strategy
  • Implement and manage performance management
  • Implement and manage staff retention strategy
  • Implement and manage succession planning
  • Develop and implement employee wellness plans and initiatives
  • Develop and implement organisational values
  • Develop, implement and manage internal training strategy and plan
  • Liaise with external stakeholders
  • Liaise with external labour consultant 
  • Monitor and empower internal stakeholders

Compliance

  • Ensure that all HR related legislation are adhered to including BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA
  • Manage and oversee BBEEE, EE and WSP/ATR process 
  • Ensure that leave and time and attendance is managed effectively

Qualification and Experience

  • BCom Honours in Human Resource Management
  • BCom in Human Resource Management
  • 8-10 years'' experience
  • Experience working in a high paced environment
  • Union engagement exeprience
  • Experience with a residential management company

Skills and knowledge

  • MS Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Business English
  • HRIS
  • Basic Conditions of employment Act
  • Labour Relations Act
  • CCMA
  • Performance management (Desirable)

Salary offered

R 45 000 - 50 000 CTC
