SUMMARY:
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:

Manage end-to-end HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EE Act).
Implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Maintain accurate HR records and reports.

Health & Safety:

Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety systems in line with OHSA and food industry standards (HACCP, ISO).
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
Ensure staff are trained on health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Liaise with Department of Labour and external auditors on compliance matters.
Maintain safety documentation and statutory registers.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant HR/Health & Safety Diploma or Degree.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar dual role within the food or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and OHSA regulations.
Experience with HR and safety audits, procedures, and compliance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
