Hardware Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Do you have experience calling on retailers, contractors, architects or, developers, selling a line of products required for new projects or retailers that consumers can purchase from?
 
Our National client based in the southern suburbs has an excellent opportunity to join their committed, stable and successful team where you will be calling on key accounts and new clients with their range of high-end quality hardware fittings to the public and retail industry.
 
Must be a go-getter who is enthusiastic, and target driven.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Own Car and valid driver’s license
• Proven stable sales track record
• Technical knowledge of hardware
• Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to close sales successfully
• Target driven and solution orientated
• Independent worker that takes personal responsibility of their work portfolio
• Ability to travel within the Western Cape

• Reporting to the Sales Manager
• Managing call cycle to call on clients independently and setting up consistent timetable
• Contacting new clients to increase customer portfolio and calling on them
• Answering incoming queries on product offering
• Daily update of CRM system
• Working out quotes and sending proposals to clients timeously
• Follow up with clients to make sure they are happy with after sales service
• Understand company product offerings and sell the wide range on offer
• Maintain a good understanding of the market: competitor offerings, general intelligence, identifying new opportunities
• Meeting and exceeding monthly targets and the annual target
• Provided solutions for clients with enquiries received
