As the Head of Sales, you will report into the General Manager, and be responsible for managing a team. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a regional sales strategy to secure business from new and existing sectors;
- Put in place a pricing strategy and apply pricing tools to optimise revenue generation;
- Ensure the business has clear management strategies and plans to increase sales volumes;
- Ensure marketing strategies implemented to drive pricing and volumes;
- Ensure that the sales function has the correct structure and resources to drive maximum sales;
- Create comprehensive annual budget report to drive sales targeting;
- Ensure pipeline remains optimized for continuous business growth;
- Maximize sales opportunities and performance to achieve revenue targets;
- Review the development needs of the sales team and agree annual training and development plans;
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Tertiary Degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years sales experience, preferably in the capital equipment industry
- Proven track record managing a Sales Team and building Sales Capability
- Has knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Willing to travel regionally
