Health and Safety Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Client based in Kwa Zulu Natal Midlands is looking for a Health and Safety Officer

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
Ensure that the company is compliant to the OHSAct and other legal Acts for the field. Compile risk assesments / generate reports drive the SHE committee. Ensure all machinery is in a safe working condition. Identify and prevent risks on site.

Security management:

• Ensure that the contracting security company provides services to protect all of the companies assets. Implement and enforce security measures. Compile reports . ensure that the premises is safe and secure. Manage the control room and the CCTV system. Prevent loss of company property.
• Investigate incidents ,accidents and damage to company property.
• Control and manage service providers , laundry , security, waste company , garden services etc.
• Chairperson of EE committee. Assist in in the equity plan. Hold monthly meetings 
  Chair and initiate disciplinary cases.

Requirements
Matric
SAMTRAC/GRADE A security Management/ computer literate.
3 years experience
OHSAct/ security management
Security management/computer skills/investigation skills/knowledge of the OHSAct/supervisory and management skills/
