POSITION INFO:

Hotel Porter

Job Duties:

Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting with their luggage
Escorting guests to their rooms and providing information about hotel facilities
Assisting guests with any queries or requests during their stay
Ensuring the lobby and entrance areas are kept clean and tidy
Assisting with valet parking services for guests
Handling deliveries and packages for hotel guests

Required Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy luggage

Education:

No formal education required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Experience:

Prior experience in a customer service role is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of hotel facilities and local area attractions
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills for logging guest information

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a hotel porter or in a similar role
Certification in hospitality or tourism management

Working Conditions:

Live-in accommodation provided
Shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Fast-paced and dynamic work environment
