JOB SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is looking for Huawei HCSA/HCSP Presales (IP Networking, Storage, Digital Power) Engineer with 5 years relevant experience in complex customer solution consulting and design (architecture) in an ICT or IT business. Must have a good understanding of the ICT industry, with a focus on the communications market and trends.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Certification/Professional Registration
  • Huawei HCSA/HCSP Presales (IP Networking, Storage, Digital Power)
  • Relevant 3 year Degree/ Diploma (at least NQF level 6)

Experience
  • 5 years relevant experience in complex customer solution consulting and design (architecture) in an ICT or IT business.
  • Must have a good understanding of the ICT industry, with a focus on the communications market and trends.

Special Requirements
  • Proven track record
  • Extensive experience in negotiating complex solutions
  • Track record must indicate previous success
  • Willing and able to travel and work after hours
  • Valid drivers' license
  • Entrepreneurial approach

Job Responsibilities
  • Define business need relating to purpose of the Huawei product portfolio, the needs being addressed and the industry position being adopted
  • Interpret business plan into an action plan
  • Support implementation strategy and define goals & targets
  • As part of the opportunity team take responsibility for presenting and selling the business and technical solution
Define customer solutions
  • Consult with clients, in union with the Business Development and Account Management teams to identify solution opportunities within the customer portfolio
  • Scope and design solutions for customer portfolio based on a catalogue of products and IT and Network Infrastructure
  • Develop solution pricing
  • Ensure clean hand-over of solutions to operations for implementation and delivery
  • Compile and present customer proposals and pricing models
  • Compile and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate Sales and solutions process deliverables for the allocated accounts provide weekly feedback with sales projections
  • Develop an account plan per customer to ensure introduction of new products and services
  • Conceptualize unique solutions to attract current and new accounts by understanding customer needs/requirements
  • Compile and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders
