JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Overseeing employee attendance and working schedules, including paid time off, overtime and breaks
Organizing employee records, like contracts, paying special attention to work permits and visas
Handling disciplinary actions
Creating internal and external job postings, screening incoming applicants’ resumes and other application materials, and conducting initial interviews
Launching employee development initiatives to grow and develop in their current roles or prepare them for career advancement within the organization.
Maintaining company culture
Ensuring that the organization acts in accordance with federal and state employment rules and regulations to create a safe working environment

Experience

HR / Business Related Degree (advantageous)
Minimum 3 years of functional HR experience
Demonstrated leadership competencies and the ability to influence at senior levels
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
High service delivery and performance mindset
Analytical thinking
Keen judgement and decision-making skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good understanding of HR administrative, consulting, and transactional activities
