JOB SUMMARY:
An opportunity for a 24 - Month fixed term contract has become available for a Qualified HR Generalist. Vast IR and HR along with Mining experience is essential. The successful candidate will be supporting the regional HR Manager and HRBP on people, leadership initiatives, and administrative duties. On-site mining visits will be required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Requirements

Support the Regional HR manager and HR business partner.
Proactively use the data to suggest improvements and alignment with business needs.
Help to prepare and execute site visits including supporting the delivery of management training on-site.
Provide information to internal leaders on employment-related issues, including hiring, organizational changes, promotions and exits.
Secure implementation of compensation and benefits-related changes, including Variable Compensation and commissions.
preparing and following up on employee engagement plans and activities.
Provide assistance with talent and performance management in operations.
Help to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, laws and regulations.
Proactively work with continuous improvement.
Be a role model for the digital way of working.
Adopt an agile mindset in all activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration or Behavioral Sciences.
Multilingual will be a benefit.
Minimum 4 years work experience, including HR, administration, and labour legislation.
Union experience is essential
Experience in at least 2 of the following HR functions: hiring, compensation and benefits, HR administration, talent development and learning.
Knowledge of MS Office
