SUMMARY:
Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing & Process Optimisation | East Rand

A well-established precision engineering and manufacturing firm in East Rand is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving production efficiency, optimising workflows, and driving continuous improvement within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and improve production processes, layouts, and material flows.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Develop and maintain work instructions, time studies, and process documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production planning, quality assurance, and cost reduction initiatives.
Monitor performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.

Requirements:

BEng/BTech in Industrial Engineering.
2–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimisation tools.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel and CAD-based tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
