Job Title: Industrial Engineer (Special Projects)
Location: Pretoria East, near Silverton
Remuneration: Negotiable dependent on Qualifications and work experience

Our client, a specialist Engineering Company providing consulting and laboratory services to the Mining and Mineral Industries, is looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer for Special Projects to join their team in Pretoria East, near Silverton.

The company services include mineral processing consulting and laboratory services with a focus on dense medium separation.

We are looking for your Industrial Engineering “IE toolbox” work experience.

We are looking for your experience as an Industrial Engineer utilising a set of tools, techniques, and methodologies used to analyze, improve, and optimize systems, processes, or organizations. These tools may include:

Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, Control Charts)
Time and motion study
Work sampling
Process flowcharts
Simulation tools
Operations research methods (e.g., Linear Programming, Queuing Theory)

POSITION INFO:
Qualification, knowledge, and skills requirements:

BEng Industrial Engineering Degree
Own Vehicle with Valid Driver’s License
Advanced MS Excel and Access
Programming languages: Python, R, and SQL
Business Process Modelling
Systems Engineering and Design
Simulation Modelling
Operations Research
Project Management
Exceptional analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter, self-motivated, and fast learner
