SUMMARY:
Well established short term insurance business is seeking a Insurance Administrator/Bookkeeper
To ensure that all premium received is allocated and paid over in a timely manner.

POSITION INFO:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bookkeeping diploma
Intermediate knowledge of excel

GENERAL:

Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts (insurers, bankers and brokers)
Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Develop operational mechanisms that minimize financial risk.

FINANCIAL INSURANCE DUTIES:

You will be responsible for the following:
Reconcile monthly collection tapes per Insurer and Broker
Rejections uploaded and communicated to Brokers
Bank reconciled to bordereaux per insurer and broker
Monthly payments made on time to relevant parties
Monthly bords and POPs sent to relevant parties
Insurer Collect - Commission Statements requested and allocated on SystemA
Journals (reconcile on System) Receipts vs Bordereaux
Invoicing of Binder fees
Claims recon
Claim payments and share POP/Statements to claims department
SASRIA SATIB payments
Daily Cover to be reconciled and paid over to Qsure
Debtors and creditors
