Intermediate .NET Developer

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented Intermediate .NET Developer to join our dynamic team! You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying world-class applications for web and mobile that are helping to solve unique challenges for government and industry in South Africa.

POSITION INFO:

What You''ll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services, APIs, and web applications using the .NET ecosystem.
• Building modern user interfaces with Blazor and creating cross-platform mobile applications with .NET MAUI.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that you can be proud of.
• Collaborating with a close-knit agile team, actively participating in code reviews, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Working with modern cloud platforms and contributing to our CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.

Our Tech Stack & What You''ll Need:

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Proven experience building backend services with ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Experience building modern web frontends with .NET Blazor.
• Familiarity or experience with cross-platform mobile development using .NET MAUI.
• Proficiency in working with databases. Specific experience with PostgreSQL is required. Experience with other SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• A relevant university degree or diploma is beneficial.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in application development.

Bonus Points For:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Services, Functions, Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
