JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, in the FMCG Sector that is based in Johannesburg South is looking to appoint an Internal Auditor. The successful candidate must come with minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Relevant Qualification (B Com, B Compt, BTech or similar).
Beneficial: Certified Internal Auditor, Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency, Certified Fraud Examiner.
Beneficial: Previous FMCG experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Own reliable vehicle.

Main Responsibilities:

Implementation of the Annual Internal Audit plan.
Drafting and send out of Engagement letter, which includes the scheduling of opening kick-off meeting with Store Management.
Directing the close out meeting with the Store Management Team.
Process walkthrough to completed, documenting complete Risk and Control Matrix.
The ability to identify control gaps.
Perform gap analysis and provide the accurate relevant recommendations to fill those identified gaps.
Testing the effectiveness of controls identified for the Development Internal Audit working program.
Previous audit findings must be resolved.
Potential risks to the business based on findings must be rated.
Drafting of internal audit reports and submission of reports and working paper to internal audit manager for review.
Protection against fraud and theft of the assets of the organisation.
Continuously monitoring hazard counts results, debtors change logs and cashier shortages.
