Internal Sales & Sales Administrator

POSITION INFO:

Are you an experienced sales professional with a knack for administrative excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Internal Sales & Sales Administrator to join a dynamic team specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial equipment solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a growing company in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all internal sales activities, including processing and following up on quotations
Handle invoicing and ensure accuracy of all billing and payment documentation
Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries, orders, and general support
Manage payment processes, including receipting and reconciliation
Maintain customer records and update sales database
Coordinate with the external sales team to ensure customer needs are met
Prepare sales reports and assist with order management
Ensure prompt and professional communication with clients and suppliers
Support the sales team with administrative tasks as required

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar sales and administrative role
Strong focus on invoicing, quotes, and managing customer payments
Excellent customer service skills, especially with walk-in clients
Grade 12 qualification
Own reliable transport is essential
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and familiarity with sales or ERP systems
