Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: 

  • A relevant Technical or Commercial tertiary qualification is essential.
  • Previous Business Development and Sales experience having managed Key Accounts as well as developing new business within the Agricultural or Fresh Fruit or Food or Packaging and related industries is essential.
  • The successful candidate must have an understanding of the processes involved with regards to developing products from idea to commercialisation. 
  • The successful candidate must be able to sell solutions from a financial, operational efficiency, risk and sustainability point of view.
  • The successful candidate must be energetic with good written and verbal communication, interpersonal and administration skills. 
  • Previous international sales exposure into Europe and related international countries is preferable but not essential. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

  • Strategically managing Senior Key Accounts as well as developing new business opportunities within the Agriculture, Fresh Produce, Food and related markets within Europe and the United Kingdom.
  • Managing and developing projects and bringing them to commercialisation.
  • Submitting detailed sales and marketing plans, identifying opportunities and the execution thereof. 
  • Offering technical support, commissioning and first level troubleshooting with the introduction of new products.
  • Recommending and implementing plans to increase revenue for specific markets.
  • Working closely work with all Senior Management both locally and internationally.  

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
