SUMMARY:
Junior Bookkeeper
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Bookkeeper for our client to join their Fast-Food Industry. The company is based in Centurion, and the successful candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Bookkeeping.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
1 years’ experience in Bookkeeping.
Own vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
Relevant financial tertiary qualification.
Previous Pastel or Sage experience.
Beneficial: Previous experience working in the fast-food/restaurant industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monthly capturing of bank statements and reconciliations.
Customer and Supplier Reconciliations.
Petty Cash Reconciliation.
Filing of documents.
Ad hoc administrative duties.
Handling the orders.
Loading all payments on the system.
Verify transactions are recorded in the correct day book, Supplier’s Ledger, Customer Ledger, and General Ledger.
Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
Carry out books to trial balance.
Perform checks of the posting process.
Complete the posting processes of day-to-day transactions and perform records thereof.
Daily Cashups/recons.
Cashbook.
Payments.
Vat-Efiling.
Debtors/Creditors (Invoicing/Grv’s)
