SUMMARY:
JUNIOR BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
PMB - HOWICK
We are seeking a local building and construction site foreman to oversee the daily operations on various building and construction sites in the Pietermaritzburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with supervising construction activities on-site
Coordinate staff, subcontractors, and deliveries
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and order on-site
Monitor use of materials and tools
Report daily progress to senior management
Assist with quality checks and compliance with building plans
Ensure adherence to safety and building regulations

Requirements:

Experience in building/construction environment
Strong understanding of site safety and construction processes
Ability to read and interpret basic building plans
Good communication and team leadership skills
Valid driver’s license
Qualification in Construction Management or related field (advantageous)
