SUMMARY:
An established media publishing group based in the East Rand is looking for a meticulous Junior Sub-editor / Copy Editor to join their growing editorial team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong command of the English language, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for editorial quality.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ sub-editing or copy-editing experience
Degree or Honours in English (Journalism beneficial)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written communication and editorial skills
Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving ability
Ability to remain impartial and uphold editorial fairness

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread content to ensure grammar, factual accuracy, tone, and layout readiness
Apply the in-house style guide and editorial policy to all content
Provide regular constructive feedback to writers to improve overall editorial standards
Assist in content generation
