SUMMARY:
A solar company in Pretoria is seeking a junior electrical engineer.

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in delivering innovative solar energy systems for agricultural applications such as irrigation, crop processing, and cold storage. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, a passion for renewable energy, and an interest in sustainable agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, sizing, and installation of solar PV systems.
Support the development of electrical schematics and layout drawings.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
Help prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and system documentation.
Collaborate with senior engineers, technicians, and clients to ensure project success.
Ensure systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical design principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to rural or off-grid project sites.
