POSITION INFO:
Kitchen Pass Controller
Job Duties:
- Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to maintain smooth operations
- Monitor food quality and presentation before sending orders out of the kitchen
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen pass area
- Handle any issues or discrepancies in food orders efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in food safety and hygiene
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment
- May require standing for long periods
- Evening and weekend shifts may be required
